Hello I’m Gretchen the face behind Bumi Doodles! I am a queer artist from central Ohio. When I’m not drawing you’ll find me working some sort of concert as a stagehand. Clearly with a job like that I love music, but just like anyone who lives in Ohio I also enjoy long walks through the local grocery store, and running around in nature. The inspiration for my art comes from never letting go of the love I found for animated shows in my childhood, and giving myself all the cute pocket sized art I always wanted as a kid.

Bumi Doodles is named after my past hedgehog Bumi as a way to pay homage to her cute and gentle spirit. She now lives on in the art I create.
